Referral service only

TreeQuotes is a referral service. We do not provide tree removal services, perform arborist work, or employ arborists. We connect consumer enquiries with independent, licensed third-party providers. Each arborist operates independently and you contract directly with them — not with us. We receive a referral fee from arborists for introductions.

The tree-removal rules, size thresholds, exemptions, maps and permit-checker results on this site are general information only, compiled in good faith from public and government sources. They are not legal, planning or arboricultural advice, may be incomplete, and can become out of date as councils change their rules. Where we show a confidence status or "last checked" date, it reflects our best effort at that time — not a guarantee.

Always confirm before you act

Confirm the rules with your local council before removing or pruning any tree.
Engage a qualified, licensed and insured arborist for assessment and work.
Removing a protected tree without approval can lead to significant penalties.
